About Benjamin Parry

More than 20 years experience  with the restoration and conservation of antique furniture .

Born 1978 in Oxford,Pa.

Grew up on the family farm, in a historic farm house and fell in love with history, nature and searching for artifacts throughout the fields and forests.

Worked at Knudsen Woodworking in Kirkwood,Pa helping build architectural  rooms and furniture.

Worked at Franklin and Cox in Paoli,Pa and apprenticed under the late Franklin Rebalsky, learning antique furniture restoration, conservation techniques and wood finishing.

Spent roughly a year working in Media,Pa restoring a Frank Ferness room with Frank Rebalsky, whom led the job.

Started my own antique furniture  restoration/conservation business in 1999, continued networking with Frank Rebalsky.

Most of my work comes from private collectors and also from master furniture makers where I’m hired to finish the furniture in a replicated aged surface.

Spent over six months conserving the finish on the architectural woodwork  in a historic home in Parksburg,Pa for a private customer.

Also a lot of my work is in replicating aged surfaces on architectural rooms.
